The same rigour.
Ashore.

Cursorio manages private villas on the French Riviera — Cannes, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Menton — with the method applied to yachts: household staff, contractors, insurance, rental brokerage introductions. Transparent invoicing, no commission, one single point of contact.

Why a villa

A villa runs like a vessel.

A property on the French Riviera asks its owner the same questions as a yacht under management: who recruits and supervises the staff, who sends the right contractor at the right time, who checks that the insurance policy actually covers what it should, who verifies invoices before they are paid. Without an organised answer, these matters fall back on the owner — or on nobody.

Cursorio brings to the villa the discipline of ship management: a single point of contact, a budget kept, contractors held accountable, a record of every intervention. The owner finds the house ready, maintained, in order — and no longer has to attend to it between two stays.

We currently manage villas in Cannes, Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Menton, and operate along the whole coastline between the two, Monaco included.

Scope of the service

Four areas.
One single point of contact.

01

Household staff

Recruitment, selection and follow-up of the villa's staff: chef, hostess, housekeeping, driver, gardener. Vetted profiles, references checked, a structured trial period — and a single point of contact for the owner whenever the team needs to be adjusted, replaced or reinforced.

02

Contractors and maintenance

Management of the property's technical contractors: garden, pool, plumbing, electrics, internet, IT, home automation. Competitive quotes, scheduled visits, inspection of the work delivered, invoices checked before payment. The owner no longer takes twenty calls: they take one.

03

Insurance

Review of existing policies, alignment of cover with the real value of the villa and its contents, renewal tracking, claims declared and followed through to settlement. No commission received from any insurer or broker.

04

Rental and brokerage

For owners who wish to let their villa part of the year: introduction to selected brokerage firms, preparation of the property before each stay, coordination of staff and contractors throughout the rental.

“The owner keeps the decisions. Cursorio takes charge of everything that precedes them and everything that follows.”

Our commitments

The same logic as for a yacht.

Transparent invoicing

Every contractor invoice is passed on as is, checked and justified. Our fees are set by quotation before the mandate starts, and do not drift with the works undertaken.

No commission

We receive no kickback from any contractor, insurer or rental firm. The only interest we serve is the owner's — which is what makes our recommendations credible.

The owner's interests

We negotiate, inspect and arbitrate on their behalf, with the same logic as for a yacht: a budget kept, contractors held accountable, a property that retains its value.

Why Cursorio

Loyal, untroubled, satisfied clients.

Ten years of experience

The Cursorio team has been managing private villas on the French Riviera for more than ten years, alongside yacht management. The reflexes are the same: anticipate, document, control.

A proven contractor portfolio

Gardeners, pool technicians, plumbers, electricians, home-automation and IT integrators: a varied, professional network built over the years, every member of which has been tested on the villas we manage ourselves.

A dedicated, tailored service

Every villa has its own way of running, its habits and its seasons. We adapt the scope and the rhythm of follow-up to the property and its occupants — not the other way round.

The owners who entrust us with their villa do so for the long run. The reason is simple: they know what is done, what it costs, and why. No surprise on an invoice, no imposed contractor, no decision taken behind their back.

Frequently asked questions

Villa management in four questions.

01

Which villas do you take under management?

Private villas on the French Riviera, between Cannes and Menton, Monaco included. We currently manage properties in Cannes, Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Menton. The service is designed for owners who do not live in the villa year-round, or who wish to delegate its running entirely.

02

How are you paid?

Through fees set by quotation, after a visit of the villa and a meeting with the owner to define the scope: staff, contractors, insurance, rental. Contractor invoices are passed on at cost, with no margin. We receive no commission from any party involved.

03

Do you let the villa yourselves?

No. We are not a rental agency: we introduce the owner to selected brokerage firms, and we take charge of what falls under management — preparing the villa, coordinating staff and contractors during stays, restoring the property afterwards.

04

Do I need to have a yacht with Cursorio to use this service?

No. Villa management is available on its own. It grew out of yacht clients asking us to apply the same method to their property ashore, but it is open to any villa owner in the area, with or without a vessel under management.

Let's talk about your villa.

A visit of the property and one meeting are enough to define the scope — staff, contractors, insurance, rental — and to hand you a costed fee proposal. Confidential, no obligation.
