Cannes, seaside.
The Vieux Port, Port Canto and the jetée Albert Edouard regularly host superyachts up to 110 metres. Cursorio operates fifteen minutes from its Le Cannet office.
Cannes, alongside Monaco, is the major event-driven port of the French Riviera. The Cannes Film Festival in May, Cannes Lions in June, Cannes Yachting Festival in September, MIPCOM in October: the peak-demand windows concentrate the bulk of the superyacht activity. Outside these peaks, the port offers a calmer alternative to Monaco for owners who prefer discretion.
The three main zones for a superyacht:
- —Vieux Port — Quai Saint-Pierre and Quai Laubeuf, accommodating yachts up to around 50 metres with additional berths for larger units during event seasons.
- —Jetée Albert Edouard — the iconic Vieux Port jetty, by invitation or for units hosted at official events.
- —Port Canto — east of the Croisette, hosts yachts up to approximately 45 metres, preferred by resident owners for its more intimate character and proximity to the district's hotels.
Fifteen minutes away, year-round.
Direct proximity
Our office is in Le Cannet, fifteen minutes by car from Cannes' Vieux Port. We can be physically on board within 30 minutes for an audit, a contract signature or a technical emergency.
Port agents
Long-standing relationships with the harbour masters of the Vieux Port and Port Canto. Peak-season berth reservations negotiated upstream, smooth handling of call formalities.
Vetted suppliers
Provisioning, bunkering, linen, florists, private security, caterers: a network of service providers we use regularly and challenge annually on quality and pricing.
What changes month by month.
May — Cannes Film Festival. The Vieux Port saturates from the week before the opening. Prime-berth reservations close by January-February of the same year. Private security, crowd management, discretion toward the press: our mandate covers all land-side and sea-side coordination over the period.
June — August — yachting high season. Calls get shorter (2-5 days), owners rotate between Cannes, Monaco, Saint-Tropez, Porto Cervo. Our role: ensure the fluidity of provisioning, linen and supply across the various calls.
September — Cannes Yachting Festival. One of Europe's largest boat shows. An opportunity for owners in fleet-renewal mode, a logistical puzzle for units already berthed (restricted access, reinforced security).
October — April — low season, perfect for shipyard work, preventive maintenance, crew changes and ISM audits. The ideal window for scheduling a new mandate or a flag change.
