Saint-Tropez, under controlled pressure.
The Nouveau Port and Quai Jean-Jaurès concentrate the densest Mediterranean high season. Limited capacity, heavy operational pressure, maximum discretion required. Our role: keep the pace.
Saint-Tropez is the most sought-after — and most constrained — destination on the French Riviera in high season. Limited port capacity (210 berths for roughly 400 peak demands), iconic but narrow Quai Jean-Jaurès, strong media pressure on large units: operating smoothly in Saint-Tropez demands rigorous upstream preparation and a shore team able to solve the unexpected without delay.
The two zones:
- —Nouveau Port / Port de Saint-Tropez — historical, operated by SAEMS, accommodates units up to approximately 80 metres at the Môle Jean Réveille. Regulated access, mandatory advance notice, high seasonal rates in July-August.
- —Quai Jean-Jaurès — the iconic quay where tourism and superyachts meet. The most media-exposed berth, by convention reserved for top-tier units.
- —Pampelonne Bay anchorages — forward alternative to Saint-Tropez for large units unable to enter the port. Tender service from the port or to Pampelonne beach.
Three high-season priorities.
Bookings & notice
Nouveau Port berth requests filed in February-March for July-August calls. Interface with SAEMS, duration negotiation, waitlist and refusal management.
High-season provisioning
Saint-Tropez over-consumes in summer: daily provisioning, refreshed linen, florists and fresh produce in quantity. Our provider network ensures dockside delivery even on very tight windows, without delay.
Discretion & press
Quai Jean-Jaurès is one of the most photographed spots in France in summer. Secure access, dockside flow management, interface with the maritime gendarmerie for large units where needed.
The calendar to master.
July — 14 July and Fête de Saint-Tropez (June/July) — maximum port saturation, maximum rates, tourist flows at peak. Large units often prefer to anchor in Pampelonne Bay and tender to the port.
August — the heart of the high season. Bookings locked since March. For owners wanting to enjoy the area without the constraints, we often recommend staying further west by end of day (La Croix-Valmer, Cavalaire, Port-Cros) and reaching Saint-Tropez by tender or fast transit for evening events.
Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez (late September – early October) — iconic regatta bringing together top-tier classic and modern sailing yachts. The port becomes a spectacle, rates remain high, access is reserved.
October — April — calmer period, useful for minor work, partial wintering and crew transitions. Easy port access, rates divided by 3-4 compared to high season.
